I often make pastrami from corned beef, however I've never seen a corned packer in my area.. just points or flats, and the points are often more expensive.

Thanks mowin, C&C is the only place I've seen the packers in my area, and this is the brand, but as Bentley said, there does not appear to be any kind of grading on the package

I've made brisket hash, but not CB hash, which sounds like a winner. However, she does like pastrami hash browns:
Boy! That's a special find ... A packer corned beef. Nice lookin, PZ. ..... Haven't had "Hash" since I was a kid, and it was always the canned stuff, but loved it with eggs anyway. .... Homemade has to be in a world of its own compared to the canned stuff.
