A great photo Bar-B-Lew.  You should make it into a Christmas card.

I think the rest of the jerky cook this Winter will be in this unit so I can stay dry and warmer than outside.

Well, my buddy who helped and bought some of the meat, got his cut.  I had to send some back to MS to the relatives who gave me the deer meat.  Have other family that I gave some to.  Will probably go through some over Christmas and NYE.  And, of course, we had to sample some as it came off the grill to ensure it was suitable for others to eat. ;D

Good question.  I went to weigh the final product only to find out the battery on my scale had died.  We got about 1/3 yield on a prior cook.  Not sure if the venison would be any better or worse.  I suspect we had about 15-20# of final jerky product.

Since there is no "like" button, I'll just have to post to say, Wow, that looks cool.

I purchased a new stainless steel cap for my Traeger smoke stack for Christmas, it's now a brownish yellow.  Doesn't bother me one bit.  But it begs the question, (your picture might just be the sun reflecting).   Do the SS pits ultimately yellow/brown without constant exterior cleaning?
