I had a few leftover cheeseburger sliders from last night.  Throw on some pulled pork, creamy horseradish sauce, and chipotle street taco sauce.  Nice way to eat the leftover sliders and leftover pulled pork I pulled out of the freezer over the weekend.

I will take left & center on top row.  Pass on row 2, probably any of the right on row 3 and center and right on row 4.  Although, I cant figure what the thing is on the right in row 4.  Looks like bacon on top, so how bad could it be?

That is quite the Cheesesteak.
Place must be relatively new as I never saw it when I lived there (12 years ago, and worked in Philly), and Bear, DE just ain't that big.

It looks delicious, but I think I am to much of a traditionalist.  I do not want to eat a cheese steak with a fork!  Or a chili dog or a hamburger!

Get an extra bun, then you have two sandwiches.   ;D

I may have to give this burger a try - https://www.buffalowildwings.com/en/food/mains/burgers/bacon-hatch-smash-burger/.

I may also have to start a burger thread on its own if I do get one of these.

Looks like they are in the burger.
Can get green chili burgers in lots of places here.
Don't know of anyplace that does the smash burgers though.
A marketing gimmick I guess. Don't think smashing the burger would change the flavor.

I fought the idea of “smash burgers” for a long time, we take 4-5 oz. fatty ground beef and ball it up. Get the black stone grill hot ( not smoking but hot) we have the salt and pepper ready and a plate for smashing them. Throw them on and smash thin 3/8” ish. Immediately salt/pepper and flip them in about 20 seconds, s&p agein and then cheese. In our opinion they are fantastic. We charcoal grill lots of them in warmer weather but done right a smash burger is heavenly.

I think I would be more apt to try them if I had a flat top.  I hate trying to battle it in a skillet.  Not much for crust on a burger, but boy do I like thin!  I could also do the Squeeze Burger, have wanted to try one, but dont have a surface big enough to do it!
