Some great sandwiches tonight.  Love the creativity and uses of different breads.

Glitchy, I had the opposite issue.  Hoagie rolls and no hamburger buns.  Made it work though just like you did.

Those are good looking sandwiches.  I always assume a Cubano was sliced pork with the ham and fixings, but to see it done with the chunks was different!

I could have just as easily sliced it, but cleaning the slicer is a PITA.
Chef John at AllRecipes uses pulled pork.

The reason I use pulled pork is probably because the recipe I found used it rather than sliced.

Might try sliced next time.

This weekend, Nov. 20 and 21, Jersey Mike's is donating 20% of their sales, with a guarantee of $2.5 million, to Feeding America, where  $1 = 10 meals to families in need through food banks.

So, for all you folks out there who are supporters of this thread, please consider buying a Jersey Mike's this weekend. I think I might buy two!
